Martin B Jazzy is a pop / jazz singer who was born in the east of the Netherlands in 1967. He sang in a couple of choirs, as many solo singers. At the age of 19 he started out as a solo artist.
He took voice lessons and in 1994 he was asked to join an outstanding acoustic pop band called Underplugged. This successful band performed in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. When more and more members left to go and play with bands like Normaal and Boh Foi Toch, Underpluggged split up. Meanwhile Martin B Jazzy did some solo gigs in The U.K., France, Morocco and the Czech Republic.
He performed for national TV in the Netherlands in 1999.
After that he joined a big band in Enschede, called Exposure, with which he still performs regularly.
